Click Speyside on the map above to follow the trail Close at hand we have the Aultmore and Inchgower distilleries. The rivers Spey, Isla, Deveron, Livet, Lossie and Findhorn all empty into the Moray Firth, having given up some of their precious waters to the many distilleries on the way. Not too far away the whisky trail includes Glenlassaugh and Macduff on the coast, whilst close inland are distilleries such as Knockdhu, Benriach, Longmorn, Linkwood, Glen Elgin, Milton Duff, Glen Moray, Glenlossie, Mannochmore and Glenburgie. Just a little farther afield are Royal Brackla, Macallan, Aberlour, Benrinnes, Craigellachie, Cardhu, Imperial, Tamdhu, Knockando, Glenfarclas and Glendronach. Travelling up the River Spey and it's tributaries are the distilleries of Cragganmore, Tormore, The Glenlivet, Tamnavulin, Tomintoul, Braeval, Tomatin, Ardmore and Speyside. Not the end of the trail, for if the traveller were to visit our neighbourhood towns they will come upon : ROTHES - Speyburn, Glen Grant, Caperdonich, Glenrothes and Glen Spey. MULBEN - Auchroisk and Glentauchers. KEITH - Aultmore, Strathmill, Glen Keith and Strathisla. Whilst in the town visit the Strath Isla distillery, founded in 1785, but known then as the Milton distillery, it is the oldest working malt whisky distillery in Scotland. DUFFTOWN - Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Kininvie, Glendullan, Mortlach, Dufftown and Pittyvaich.
